bathroom with marble floor

When you think of the true private sanctuary in your home, nothing comes close to the bathroom. We’ve put together our five favourite bathroom projects to inspire you with your renovation!
A Minimalistic and Luxurious Bathroom Design

The homeowner of this St Heliers home decided her ensuite and family bathrooms needed to be updated and brought in renovation specialist Dave Georgetti to help. For the two upstairs bathrooms, Dave installed marble floor tiles that created a simple yet luxurious colour palette. Downstairs, the homeowner opted for large grey tiles. Subtle recess lighting was added to continue the minimal design of the bathrooms, with additional mood lighting surrounding the mirrors and custom-made vanities. Dave also installed brand new handles and custom-engineered stone tops and bowls, creating a unique space ideal for his clients. View the full project here.
A Small but Luxurious Ensuite Renovation

When renovation specialist Leigh McDonald first met with the homeowner, he was presented with a small, outdated ensuite bathroom. The design was cluttered and did not allow for much functionality or movement. After understanding exactly what the homeowner wanted, Leigh removed the original doorway and installed a cavity slider in the middle of the room, before fixing floor-to-ceiling tiling, and ensuring the room was waterproofed. Next, Leigh installed a niche and created a walk-in shower that included a 2000x1000 glass panel. Finally, Leigh added a floating stone-top vanity, chrome tapware, a shower rail, toilet roll holders, towel rails, and a Zumio Mezio wall facing toilet. Check out the incredible transformation.
A French Provincial Style Bathroom and Laundry Renovation

Owners of this Gwynneville home asked renovation specialist Cinzia Galiardi to transform their basic bathroom and laundry into a combined space. As their son lives with a disability, their priority was for the bathroom to be safe for him to use. They asked Cinzia to use her experience in French provincial style renovations to reflect the same in their bathroom. Cinzia and her team started by removing the wall separating the bathroom and laundry, creating a single open space. She ensured safety by replacing the shower screen with a shower curtain and replaced the original tiles with slip resistant, artisan tiles. By the end, the beige bathroom was transformed into an elegant and functional space that included a freestanding bath, crystal embellishments, and even a beautiful chandelier! Bringing a Bathroom from 1970 into 2019

The homeowners said their Clevedon home looked like it hadn’t been updated since the 1970s and called in renovation specialist Kim Reiche to modernise and personalise their home, starting with their bathrooms. Kim transformed the old school bathrooms into bright modern spaces by pairing a simple colour pallet with luxurious features such as a free standing bath and minimalistic aesthetics. The end result left the homeowners with two peaceful, relaxing bathrooms that they couldn’t be happier with. See the final results here.
A Modern, Easy-Access Bathroom Renovation

When Refresh Renovations specialist Kelley Malcher first met with the homeowner of this Surrey property, she was shown a dated bathroom which was no longer in use. The objectives of this renovation were clear: the space was to be transformed into a new modern bathroom that would provide functionality and easy-access. Kelley started by installing a shower alcove and used pale teal tiles along with cool grey painted walls to create an elegant and whimsical atmosphere. She then fixed a lighted vanity unit and a state-of-the-art sensor toilet that not only improves the functionality of the bathroom, but adds to its sleek modern vibe.
