Jimmy Mitchell - Wellington Architectural Designer

Jimmy is a contract designer for Refresh. Born in the shadows of the tallest building in the Waikato, Jimmy has a passion for anything related to architecture and design. Armed with a bachelor of Architecture from Victoria, first class honors and a sharp wit, Jimmy has spent the last 10 years as an architectural designer in various parts of the world.
He has provided architectural services to commercial, residential and retail clients over a diverse range of projects. “I have worked on anything from large scale town center redevelopments to a simple piece of furniture. The experience has given me the skills to approach my work from a comprehensive point of view, understanding the important balance of budget and design coordination.” Jimmy thrives on the process of design and has crafted an approach to renovations. Although fluent in 3D software, he whips out the 2B pencil any chance he gets and often sketches alongside his clients to resolve decisions.
