Having Refresh Renovations Hawkes Bay do a complete renovation of our kitchen was one of the best decisions we have ever made. From our initial consultation to the completion of our new kitchen, Sophia, Rachel & Mike made the whole experience an enjoyable one. Sophia & Rachel were fully involved in our decision- making steering us in the right direction to achieve our goal. Any queries we had along the way were always quickly resolved, their knowledge, skills & patience were invaluable to us. Having Mike project manage the entire process was unbelievable, nothing was ever too much trouble for him his knowledge & professionalism was outstanding. His daily contact with us explaining the next step was amazing, the trade people were very highly skilled, always friendly, obliging & ensuring their result was up to Mike’s high standard. We cannot thank this wonderful Refresh Team enough for the wonderful kitchen renovation they did for us. From Kick off to touch down the team of Mike, Sophia and Rachel delivered us two beautiful renovated bathrooms. Meeting Sophia and Rachel initially, getting our ideas and giving theirs, then taking it to the design team came up with designs we could visualise, then taking us to choose fittings etc made the job less onerous for ourselves, and we appreciated all their input during the reno. Mike is in a league of his own. His daily contact with us and his tradies, kept us in the loop as to what was happening. His subcontractors, being excellent tradespeople, respected him and ourselves so having them in the house, whilst a noisy, dusty experience, was made easier with them all cleaning up at the end of each day.We have no hesitation in recommending Refresh to anyone contemplating a renovation.

The entire Refresh Renovations team were excellent, from start to finish. Every aspect of our planned renovations was discussed, and Sophia and Rachel assisted in our decision-making with professionalism and creativity. Their knowledge of products, of feasibility and of practicality was invaluable. We were fully involved and updated at every step of the way, and they patiently and clearly answered our myriad questions! No detail was too small or unimportant and anything we raised was dealt with swiftly and efficiently. During the build Mike as Project Manager was at pains to make sure we knew what the plan was week by week. He was involved with the trades on a daily basis and ensured that everything was completed to his exacting standards. We are absolutely thrilled with the results. We would highly recommend Refresh Renovations to anyone looking to do renovations in the future and, if it's bathrooms, make sure you take them up on the option of the portable shower. It was a lifesaver and is bigger and more efficient than many we have seen in motels and holiday parks!

We are so impressed with the team at Refresh Renovation - Hawkes Bay. Sophia, Rachel and Mike’s design flair, attention to detail, clarity of communication, and excellent project management ensured that a potentially stressful home renovation was actually really enjoyable and stress-free. They approached all aspects of this project with abundant professionalism, and any challenges were promptly and effectively resolved, with us being kept in the loop through the whole process. Their team of tradespeople were just superb, and it was a pleasure to have them in our home. All the tradespeople were on site when they said they would be and cleaned up at the end of each day, which was so appreciated as we remained in the house throughout the project. Mike went above and beyond on a daily basis, ensuring all aspects progressed seamlessly. We did have some variations that were unavoidable, but the Team provided excellent suggestions and modifications to our plans to ensure we adhered closely to our budget without compromising our vision. The project was completed within the timeframe indicated despite interruptions from Covid. Mike, Sophia, and their team were a godsend from start to finish with my bathroom renovation.The whole process was seamless, they arranged everything, from making appointments, bringing samples to go through, giving advice, plus making suggestions.  Once the project began I received regular updates on how things were progressing; watching it on a daily basis and seeing all  the trades do their thing, it all came together!!I value the trusted working relationship Mike & Sophia have with their wider team, i.e. Tradies and the suppliers they work with, giving the total package of “customer service”. Finally deciding to proceed with a major renovation of my 1886 cottage was an extremely big deal for me, especially given the current building and renovation climate and the horror stories you would commonly hear. It’s fair to say I procrastinated a lot before finally committing and I appreciated Mike and Sophia’s patience at that time. And I’m so pleased I did commit and proceed! Not only was my renovation experience excellent, the outcome exceeded my expectation and I absolutely love my beautiful home! I did not have any of the issues I was worried about. The team of tradespeople that Refresh chose to work with were all great. There were no hold-ups due to product issues and, apart from a couple of variations that seemed sensible along the way, we stayed within budget. There was only one hiccup involving the colour of the benchtops which was an error on the part of the supplier, not Refresh, and this was resolved quickly and without question. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mike and Sophia. Their advice was sound throughout the process and although I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted to achieve, they contributed many helpful ideas along the way. In terms of managing the project once the build got underway, exceptional! Everything went extremely smoothly and if not for the bench issue the job would have been completed well under the projected time. As it was, it still came in on time. I know I could not have taken on such a big renovation without their expertise and professionalism for which I remain very grateful.

Sophia and Mike were amazing, professional and had great communication throughout the project management of our house extension of master bedroom, ensuite, walk in wardrobe and laundry. Great at listening at ideas/issues and giving advice of products. Right from design to end of build they were there. Great contacts for sub contractors and local trade business. Can not fault them. I have really enjoyed working with Mike, Sophia and their team at Refresh. It was so great to have lots of advice on the initial plans. My renovation ideas completely changed after our first meeting .So many fun things to think about!!! From the beginning stages to the finished product they were nothing but professional. Communication was excellent and any questions I had were answered immediately. The tradesmen were all so respectful, friendly, professional and informative. It was much appreciated to have Mike on site most days to check progress and keep me updated. The work was carried out to a very high standard. We are delighted with our renovation project. We now have a lovely new kitchen, an open living area and a beautiful bathroom. Sophia and Mike, from Havelock North, guided us with great ideas and paid close attention to every detail of the renovation. They liaised with quality companies and tradesmen who in turn, produced an excellent result for us. The inevitable challenges were quickly dealt with. We found them to be always accessible, quick to respond and communication between all parties was clear and timely.
